My Journey on Building Health
Throughout my teen years and early twenties I suffered from chronic fatigue, headache, and gastrointestinal disorders. I was always dependent on medications - Paracetamol (acetaminophen) for my headache, and ranitidine or proton pump inhibitors for stomach issues. This is how I lived for almost ten years.

After coming to USA for higher studies I started following 'Standard American Diet'. My chronic fatigue syndrome got worse and my health broke down within two years. I was diagnosing with one disease after another - Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Hyperinsulinemia, Stage 3 hypertension, Iritis, Dry eye disease, Hyperparathyroidism,.......and the list goes on.

My doctor's visit wasn't doing any miracle, rather I was pouring money on my medications, which is hard as an international student. So I started doing my own research and within a year and a half I put off most of my medications. My doctor postponed my surgery because my test results came back better than before.

"Food is the biggest medicine"- which I learnt over the past few years. Although, it is now well accepted that standard American diet is a disease driver, my Asian high carb high sugar diet is equally bad. A proper diet is enough to build health and to cure most diseases.

I am still learning and eager to share my knowledge with those who is suffering from modern diseases and to reclaim health without paying to big pharma.
